I am so lucky to live next to an awesome Mexican grocery store. The family vibe is evident; they have fresh made salsa and meal plates you can buy on the weekend. Almost every time I go, their avocados are on sale 5 for $5--whattt?! Yep, for real! And, they are perfect like 98% of the time. You know this is pretty much impossible, I don't know how they do it!
I love guac and this is how I make mine EXTRA:
- 2 avocados
- juice of 1 lime. [I love this citrus presser]
- 1 tsp celtic sea salt
- 1 scoop collagen
Mash, mix, & enjoy!
I love adding collagen as a protein source with the fat profile of avocados. I find it holds me over better than guac without protein. Also, I love that the collagen comes from a grass fed source!
