A Pedometer Of The Future

The Satiated Blonde

wearing pedometer

I've been curious to track my steps and don't always have my phone with me (nor do I want to start carrying it everywhere). The pedometer I found is NOT bluetooth linked (which is what I was looking for). Still, compared to the one I had as a kid, this is futuristic!!! I didn't realize how much so until I was talking with my in-laws and they even laughed at how primitive my first pedometer was! Anyway, that was just for fun when I was a kid.

My Pedometer

This one clips easily onto my base layer or in the top part or small pocket of my shorts and pants. It seems to be accurate and only turns on when I'm walking to save the battery. The reset button is simple and I just keep note of my steps for fun.

Durability

I've even dropped it a few times and it hasn't messed it up (thank goodness)! I also accidentally ran it through the dryer for a few minutes and it still worked! Can you see why I need a life-proof style case for my phone? Haha. Anyways, of course none of these things are recommnded, I'm just living and sharing what happened!

Activity

I quickly found out even though I'm active and work out regularly, I was typically falling short of the recommended 10k step count. I don't reach it everyday, and some days it's higher...but when it's 5pm after a heavy work day and I only have 2k steps, it's a good motivator to go for a walk!

And yes, my husband thinks it looks like a pager, lol.

Do you use a pedometer? Which one and what do you like about it? Tell me in the comments! See where I'm walking by following me in my stories!
