Canned Air or Invest in an Air Machine?

Welp, never thought we'd get one of these but after our new coffee grinder clogged, we had two options: get some canned air full of propellants (yikes) or get an air machine. We went with the latter, obviously--especially since the grounds were clogged in the grinder in a place where our food touches--when my husband brought up the idea of getting a reusable machine that isn't going to add propellants on things we're consuming, I was sold!
I've shared a lot about coffee on this page, including my newest way of enjoying it, home roasting green beans, a comparison of home roasted vs. store bought, and even hand grinding (which is how we did it for over a decade)! We found out about and tried the "top barista-recommended grinder" and it works well and is a time-saver! In the fine print it does talk about cleaning the inner parts regularly including the gasket and burrs--oops! We discovered we were using particularly oily coffee (but still tasty) and since have switched back to my all-time fave (affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE).

Back to the air machine. I took the grinder outside and blew out the grounds, cleaned the gasket and burrs per the instructions, then let everything completely air dry to avoid mold, put it back together the next day, and it worked perfectly! I try and remember to do this maintenance about every three months, but it's already been longer than that since the last time, so I guess that's my reminder, lol! Also, what I did is not exactly what is recommended by the company, do not use this as advice, I am only sharing what I did. Remember, my page is for entertainment only!
Since then, I've found a few other ways to use the air machine, like dusting in little crevasses in the cabinets and the edges of things that are difficult to get under, and my laptop keyboard! I'm sure I'll find more uses, too! This is not an affiliate link, but I wanted to share the one we got.
