dirty air filter

I've been researching air purifiers for...way too long. I share more about this and why I chose this particular brand (affiliate code: SB15) on this post about air quality in my home . Finally, I got one and it's exactly what I've been looking for! After about six months the indicator light came on, notifying me to change the filters. For reference, I run it 24 hours a day at speed 1 (which is pretty quiet, all things considered) most of the time. Every once in a while I'll kick it up a notch if needed, or if I'm not in the room (since it gets loud). I ordered a few filters, but was hesitant to change them once I got it because I didn't want to mess anything up. Once I did it though, it was so easy!

Check out these before and after pictures:

I think it's even easier to tell how much it needed changed in the video!

Here's a quick video of me showing how I cleaned the outside of the machine with EC3 Wipes (affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE) and easily replacing the filters.

If cleaning filters are your thing, check out my post on cleaning out my dishwasher filters!
