We have so many kitchen gadgets, but Prime Day rolled around and there were a few items we wanted to add to our collection.

spoon

Serving spoon - I'm not sure what happened to all of ours, but we ended up with only slotted spoons and using the large silverware spoons just weren't cutting it anymore. This spoon is great. In fact, I think we need another one, especially for when we have people over for dinner!

Rice Rinser - I am a stickler for not just rinsing, but soaking our rice. My husband found this and wanted to try it. We'd been using a large measuring cup that had a lid but it lost so much rice every time we drained it. This bowl is textured on the bottom for cleaning, is made of food grade stainless steel, and the pour spout works so well. It's very rare we lose any rice, but if so, it's nothing compared to what we were using before. Find my favorite rice here (affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

Tongs - I've used a lot of tongs in my life and these are my favorite - price wise and how well they work. The springs are the perfect amount of springiness, close and open easily, and come with two sizes - one better to use while cooking and the smaller pair best for serving. They're also perfect for serving shawarma. Learn more about the shawarma platter and how I made it here. But they're also great for cooking - they close and store away so easily!

Pancake batter pourer - this is designed to make the batter in and shake it all up - so it's kind of like a one pan pancake maker. I've tried shaking other things up in it and it leaks, so it definitely needs that thick batter in there, lol! I like that it makes pretty perfectly sized pancakes!

Over the sink strainer - I still use our other one more that I thought I would, but this strainer is definitely easier! I like that it expands to fit the sink easily.

Flexible cutting boards - these have been more handy than I even thought. They came in a 3-pack with different sizes and they're easy to clean (note: I do not put these in the dishwasher).

Freezer thermometer - easy enough to set up and alerts us if the temperature goes below where we want it!

Handheld whisk - This has come in handy for so many things - from my daily coffee to electrolytes to whisking Caesar salad dressing!

I'm so glad we got these items! I'll keep you updated on other gadgets that I think are worth the purchase! Keep up with what I'm trying out next in my stories.
