me and mom

For our second year in a row, my mom and I took a roadtrip to Tennessee. We went to a conference that focused on the glory of the Lord, the difference between being of Christ and in Christ, and true freedom in Jesus. It was great and HOTTT! So hot that the gentleman next to me clapped his hands and his sweat landed on my forearm, lol! I was even using those cool snap towels, but it was HOT!

Imagine this: as we were getting off the expressway exit, I got a call from my husband asking if I meant to leave my luggage bag behind. Umm, what? Definitely not! Gratefully, our hotel was next to a shopping strip and it's a good thing because I needed some essentials!!! I picked up some organic basics (yay for finding those!). Here, here, and here are some others I like. I'm not sure how it works for you, but when I shop, I either find nothing or everything--and on top of the items I needed, I found a bunch of other dress clothes! I also really needed some shorts to wear under dresses, but glad I had a full extra change of clothes in my go bag in the car! And I had to get a swimsuit since I booked us purposefully at a hotel with an outdoor pool (since the one with the indoor saltwater pool was sold out)! I found one, and if you want to read more about my swimming suits, check out this post.

my fave nose spray

Pictured above is my favorite nasal spray (code: SATIATEDBLONDE). I always have it in my purse and definitely wouldn't want to travel without it --waking up stuffy in hotel rooms, changing weather, any pressure in my head, etc... We've also got our travel mugs (which if you know how much I like 'here' mugs, you'd be surprised to know that I really like this one and sometimes even use it at home). Here's mine and here's mom's. If you look on the floor of the car, I have my sling purse that I share all about in this post. Also, something I don't really share about but probably should is that the in-car circulation is on - driving by farms that are spraying and exhaust from other vehicles, I like having this on so all that stuff from the outside isn't coming in!

holding Olipop and by water bottle

We were prepared with plenty of drinks, including one of my favorite Olipop flavors (code: SATIATEDBLONDE)! We had water, some electrolytes, and of course food and snacks. Tap here to read about my travel essentials

I even found 100% cotton pajamas (as you can see in the bottom two pictures) which I was super excited about! Oh, and you better believe I spray down the hotel room when I walk in - carpets, the bedding, couches/chairs, the air, all of it! And I used the wipes on all hard surfaces before we put anything down. It's pretty quick and I just like to protect my environment (code: SATIATEDBLONDE). Read more about the spray and wipes and check out the FAQ's post.

What do you take with you on a roadtrip? Tell me in the comments! Keep up with where I'm at on socials.
