Shopping Smart & Stocking Up On My Favorites This Season

Updated: Feb 16, 2024

*Affiliate links & codes are used throughout this post; please see disclaimer at footer and thank you for your support.

Sales during this part of the year allow me to stock up on all my favorites and save money on things I would be purchasing anyways! I like buying in bulk, being prepared, and having things on hand to share. Here are a few products I'll be checking out this week, with links to deeper reviews I've done (on most items)!

I try to really have what I am buying for the year (body wash, spices, candles, etc...) planned out so I can save money buying things in bulk while they're on typically, what's the best sale of the year, opposed to purchasing when I run out throughout the year!

Shop With Me

I broke it down into three main categories: Daily staples (an assortment of things from beauty care to organic clothing), cleaning & household items (from my favorite hand soap to laundry necessities), and extras (like candles, snacks, and plants).

Daily Staples

There are items I use regularly - from "soap" to spices, and lots of things in between.

Supplements: Although the supplements I take are much, much less than in times past, there are a few things I like to keep on hand:

Salt: Yes, salt deserves its own line! I been using the salt from this company. I add it to my water, do foot soaks, body scrubs, cook with it, etc... (Affiliate code: SB10)

Cleaning and household items

A lot of the items I use daily. These are more household type items:

  • Laundry detergent - I like their unscented the best! I talk a little more about it at the bottom of this post.

  • Laundry Additive - one of my favorite new additions to my laundry room, I share quite a lot about it on my Instagram, but you can read a whole post on it here, too! Or check out this video. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

  • Sheets - these look so soft and they have nice, neutral colors

  • Other bedding - they have a wide variety of colors, but also some nice duvets and down pillows & comforters.

  • Hand Soap - If I don't make my own, I get it from here. I like to have a few bottles on hand in case I don't have a chance to make my own in time, too! (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

  • Mold Solution Spray - I spritz this on pillows, carpets, curtains, and more - read about it here.

  • Mattress - this is on my list to buy!

Extras

These aren't daily essentials, but make nice gifts to have on hand or just something a little 'extra.'

  • Beeswax candles - with a Bible verse on them...I share a little blurb about it in a product highlight here as well as in this candle post. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

  • Coconut + beeswax candles - such great scents to choose from! (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

  • Maple syrup candies - I was curious, but so glad I tried these out, so delicious and extravagant! I share more about maple products in this post.

  • Vitamin E - I like to have this on hand for adding into the homemade balms! You can read about other ways I use these products here. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

  • Ozone Machine - This is the best one on the market in my opinion! It comes with a lifetime warranty and it's made in the USA, plus it's cold quartz!!! (Affiliate code: SBOZONE)

  • NuLeaf Naturals - Check out their extraction process and glyphosate-free certification, and they have a pet line. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

  • Olipop - My favorite ones are: vintage cola & cherry vanilla, but I cannot wait to try out their new cherry cola -- it looks delicious! (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

  • Jot - a coffee concentrate that my hubby likes to have on hand.

  • Bajos steaming kit & herbs - such a warming, slow-down thing I like to do once a month - you can read all about the ladies night experience I did with my girlfriends years ago here. (update: I do not use this anymore)

  • Tea - I really like their mEnergy & mPurify (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

  • Natural wine - I enjoy cooking with wine or a small glass with dinner, or special occasions from time to time.

Plants: I like houseplants and have quite the collection now - between ones I've been given and ones I have propagated, it's been so much fun! I think they make great gifts and help brighten up spaces.

If you're looking for gourmet basket ideas or unique items that are more challenging to find in the store, I like:

Fermenting/Cheese making supplies - I learned how to make my own chevre & they have awesome kits - like mozzarella which I am trying out next, but have used their starters to make quite a few things!!! Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)

I hope you enjoyed reading my guide to shopping smart this season. Thanks so much for being intentional in using my affiliate links and codes as it helps support me. I hope you find some great deals and as always, #GetSatiated.
