Sales during this part of the year allow me to stock up on all my favorites and save money on things I would be purchasing anyways! I like buying in bulk, being prepared, and having things on hand to share. Here are a few products I'll be checking out this week, with links to deeper reviews I've done (on most items)!
I try to really have what I am buying for the year (body wash, spices, candles, etc...) planned out so I can save money buying things in bulk while they're on typically, what's the best sale of the year, opposed to purchasing when I run out throughout the year!
Shop With Me
I broke it down into three main categories: Daily staples (an assortment of things from beauty care to organic clothing), cleaning & household items (from my favorite hand soap to laundry necessities), and extras (like candles, snacks, and plants).
Daily Staples
There are items I use regularly - from "soap" to spices, and lots of things in between.
Organic Threads: I've shared a lot about organic clothing. You can read why I choose it and some examples of my style (haha) here: Part I & Part II. Some brands that are worth checking out:
MATE the Label - They run regular sales which is so great!
Subset - underwear, bras (if that's your thing, lol), and socks (read my review here)
Organic basics - undershirts and more for the everyday
Traditional spices - although I say these are traditional, they are very unique in their sourcing and are the best tasting and performing spices I've ever had. I've shared about them in many items I've made here and here (but you can find them in several of my posts)
Food powders - I also like these as "spices" - their horseradish and low ox greens are great in soups! They also have a new, 'organ spice' that I am looking forward to trying. This summer, I had an opportunity to go live with their CEO - you can watch the video here. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Pots & Pans - I've been trying to slowly switch over my collection as the ones I'm using fall apart...their pie pan and cookie tray have been great! (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Shower Gel - I call this my body wash, but it is actually an enzymatic body cleanse - they have lots of variety from their seasonal cranberry to unscented. This is also the shaving gel I use and all purpose soap when I travel: shampoo, body, shave, hands, etc... (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Toothpaste - this one won my review last year - read my post on all the ones I tried here.
Stasher bags - I've had the original ones I purchased for years - they have a range of sizes and definitely help me go through traditional plastic baggies less frequently -- I think they're great for leftovers!!!
Beauty Products - from tallow balm to hydrosols, these are my favorite products for my face and body...and I've reviewed almost every single item on her site. (Affiliate code applied when clicking through my link!) Check out all the posts I've done here (newest to oldest):
EMF protection - I've used their defenderpad ever since I've owned a laptop!
Supplements: Although the supplements I take are much, much less than in times past, there are a few things I like to keep on hand:
Minerals - I add these to my water daily, I really think it helps me stay hydrated. Want to find out more? Here's a whole post on them! (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
CitriDrops Nasal Spray - At the first hint of sinus pressure (which is so much more infrequent for me now a days), or just waking up a little stuffy (yes, we finally turned the heat on, haha!), 2 sprays of this in each nostril make a HUGE difference for me! (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Binder - Pro - I don't take this everyday, but have it in my purse for the rare times I eat out at restaurants. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
mMagBicarb - I make magnesium bicarbonate on the regular with sparkling water & a teaspoon of this! Watch my tips & tricks video. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
mColostrum - I use this in baking but also, in my first aid kit! (Affiliate code: SB10)
mCollagen - my favorite collagen, grass-fed peptides and sourced in the USA! (Affiliate code: SB10)
Salt: Yes, salt deserves its own line! I been using the salt from this company. I add it to my water, do foot soaks, body scrubs, cook with it, etc... (Affiliate code: SB10)
Cleaning and household items
A lot of the items I use daily. These are more household type items:
Laundry detergent - I like their unscented the best! I talk a little more about it at the bottom of this post.
Laundry Additive - one of my favorite new additions to my laundry room, I share quite a lot about it on my Instagram, but you can read a whole post on it here, too! Or check out this video. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Sheets - these look so soft and they have nice, neutral colors
Other bedding - they have a wide variety of colors, but also some nice duvets and down pillows & comforters.
Hand Soap - If I don't make my own, I get it from here. I like to have a few bottles on hand in case I don't have a chance to make my own in time, too! (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Mold Solution Spray - I spritz this on pillows, carpets, curtains, and more - read about it here.
Mattress - this is on my list to buy!
Extras
These aren't daily essentials, but make nice gifts to have on hand or just something a little 'extra.'
Beeswax candles - with a Bible verse on them...I share a little blurb about it in a product highlight here as well as in this candle post. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Coconut + beeswax candles - such great scents to choose from! (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Maple syrup candies - I was curious, but so glad I tried these out, so delicious and extravagant! I share more about maple products in this post.
Vitamin E - I like to have this on hand for adding into the homemade balms! You can read about other ways I use these products here. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Ozone Machine - This is the best one on the market in my opinion! It comes with a lifetime warranty and it's made in the USA, plus it's cold quartz!!! (Affiliate code: SBOZONE)
NuLeaf Naturals - Check out their extraction process and glyphosate-free certification, and they have a pet line. (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Olipop - My favorite ones are: vintage cola & cherry vanilla, but I cannot wait to try out their new cherry cola -- it looks delicious! (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Jot - a coffee concentrate that my hubby likes to have on hand.
Bajos steaming kit & herbs - such a warming, slow-down thing I like to do once a month - you can read all about the ladies night experience I did with my girlfriends years ago here. (update: I do not use this anymore)
Tea - I really like their mEnergy & mPurify (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
Natural wine - I enjoy cooking with wine or a small glass with dinner, or special occasions from time to time.
Plants: I like houseplants and have quite the collection now - between ones I've been given and ones I have propagated, it's been so much fun! I think they make great gifts and help brighten up spaces.
Plant food - I crush this shilajit and mix with water and pour on my plants (Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
If you're looking for gourmet basket ideas or unique items that are more challenging to find in the store, I like:
My Panier - you can read about some of the items I got from them here
Verve Culture - artisan finds
Fermenting/Cheese making supplies - I learned how to make my own chevre & they have awesome kits - like mozzarella which I am trying out next, but have used their starters to make quite a few things!!! Affiliate code: SATIATEDBLONDE)
