TSB Review: Earthley Wellness

Earthley product spread

When I want to try a company, I really try it, lol. I'd heard about Earthley Wellness quite a bit so I was excited to share my experience here with you. I really wanted the black salve for my tick kit and wanted to get the bug bite salve (PEST-ASIDE) for my hubby--but of course, then I like to get free shipping and found a bunch of other fun things to try! They have their ingredients listed on their site, but I would like them to be a little easier to access. Read more about what I tried below! Click the titles to jump to each section:

Sun Soothe + Sun Shield - These go together as the Sun Shield is recommended pre-sun and the Sun Soothe is used for after sun exposure. I didn't notice much of a difference using the sun shield - not because it didn't work, but because I didn't have any extreme sun exposures this summer - just maybe slight sun-kissed shoulders and the sun soothe felt nice...but typically, if I get sun kissed, the pink is gone the next day. Still, I like having them on hand just in case we have a long day out on the kayaks! From their website:

"Traditional sunscreens contain ingredients that may potentially cause harmful diseases, such as avobenzene. Safer options contain sun blockers, like zinc oxide. Both kinds of their ingredients may help avoid burns, but they also block vitamin D."

Pest-Aside - First of all, the name is great! It smells good and I like that it's small enough to put in my purse without worrying about leaking. My husband took this camping and didn't have any bites. He used it all summer on boat rides and when he used it, didn't have to worry about getting bitten - and it smells so good! From their website:

"Pest Aside is an all-natural bug repellent stick that repels ticks, mosquitoes, flies, and other pests that might bother you when you’re trying to enjoy the great outdoors! Pest Aside is a five-ingredient blend that’s very effective against all these insects, and more!

We use coconut oil, neem oil, citronella essential oil, patchouli essential oil, and candelilla wax to create a salve that’s applied from a convenient, non-messy tube. All four oils are known for their bug repellent properties — and neem, in particular, makes it work better than most essential oil-based options! Make sure you have it whenever you plan on being outside!"

All-purpose salve - This sits on my nightstand and I use it on everything from minor paper cuts to dry skin - I like to slather it on my feet and then put on socks! It doesn't smell to me, which I prefer. From their website:

"Have you ever wanted a multipurpose salve that help with various skin issues? Do you need help with skin irritations like minor scrapes, burns, rashes, etc.? We’ve got you covered with All-Purpose Salve!"

Black Drawing Salve Stick - As I mentioned above, I got this to put in my tick kit (post coming soon) but ended up using it for other bug bites and a random weird feeling I had on my ankle and it was gone in a few hours. It goes on quick and takes a bit to dry. Just note it kind of can get everywhere (you should have seen the spot on my ankle, lol -- but I did have it on for church and no one said anything! I like that the stick is small and easy to fit in my tick kit and travel bag. What I really liked about it compared to other drawing salves I've tried throughout my life is that it wasn't drying and didn't make my skin feel tight (I don't like that feeling)! From their website:

"We formulated our Black Drawing Salve to help with symptoms associated with bug bites, stings, rashes or itch related to skin irritating plants, skin breakouts, splinters, and more! It’s made with activated charcoal, bentonite clay, and lavender essential oil to help soothe irritated skin."

All-purpose spray - I am not a big fan of hand sanitizers but they do come in handy when the only place I can go to the bathroom is a port-a-potty and I don't use the ones in there! The spray is easy and the bottle is small which makes it great to keep in my purse and car! From their website:

"All Purpose Spray is truly all purpose! We’ve crafted it with cane-derived alcohol and lavender and lemon essential oils to give you a bright and sweet-smelling spray that can be used for cleaning, sanitizing, to freshen the air, or even use as deodorant!

Because it is formulated only with truly clean and natural ingredients like lavender and lemon essential oil, it’s not harsh on your skin and it can be used for multiple purposes.

No harsh chemical smells like you’d get with conventional hand sanitizers. This is a must-have for on-the-go and for kids to take to school."

Mineral deodorant - I purchased the 'woods' scent for my husband (but I like it, too!), which was good timing because he recently noticed sensitivity to another deodorant! I like that it has magnesium chloride in the ingredients and smells nice without being overwhelming. From their website:

"Finally, a 100% natural deodorant that actually works -- without the awful red rash! We start with magnesium chloride, which helps to naturally detoxify your pits and reduce odor. We blend it with apricot oil and mango butter, which help to nourish sensitive skin. Finally, we finish it with arrowroot powder to keep you dry -- no baking soda, which can be irritating for some people. We never use aluminum!"

Lymphatic Cream - I like slathering this on my legs before bed. They say you can use it to dry brush with, so I need to try that, too. From their website:

"Lymphatic Cream is a lotion created to help relieve achy parts of the body caused by poor lymphatic flow. This cream encourages healthy lymphatic flow by gently encouraging detox, which may reduce soreness and improve overall wellness."

I am not an affiliate for Earthley, but wanted to try out their products I'd heard so much about and share them here in case you were curious, too! I will definitely be ordering again. If you want to see all the things I'm trying, keep up with me in my stories!
